NYT Co.'s stock traded recently today for $11.33 a share, up 2.4% -- bucking its sharp 12% decline in the first quarter, which ended last Wednesday. During that quarter, NYT fell 12% vs. the broader S&P 500 Index's 4% gain, Google Finance data show.
